We are proud to say that we have been doing fiber based printing for over 29 years.
Fiber based prints are also known as silver gelatin prints, these are the standard in archival prints. When you read about archival printing related to inkjet printers, the standard they are trying to reach is that of fiber prints. Fiber prints are very commonplace in our society because they've lasted for generations in our families.
We hand process all fiber based prints in a wet darkroom (meaning that we use chemical baths) on double-weight paper. An 1/8th inch white border is standard on black and white fiber prints. Sepia and brown toning are also available for fiber based prints.
