AZA racing invited supporters to join them November 29^th at the Cactus Cantina for an appreciation lunch.  Austin expressed how grateful he was for everyone’s support during the year.  He presented each sponsor in attendance a framed personalized picture.  Chris gave everyone a sneak preview of what some of the plans were for 2010.  Austin will compete in the AAA modified division at 81 Speedway.  He also will be running the complete NCRA modified series and one or two USMTS shows.  The goal next year is not to chase the points in AAA, but will run for the Rookie of the Year in NCRA.  Chris also commented that the race team will have some exciting news to announce within the next two months.  A special thanks was given to Don Renfro for all the help in getting the car ready to race and his expertise during the season. Everyone seemed to enjoy not only the great meal, but getting a chance to congratulate Austin for the great success in his first modified season.
