I don't think it's the storage space for photos etc causing your issue--it's the operating storage of the phone that's full and there's not a lot you can do about it -unless you get more storage space

If you mean by fulcrum pin, the double threaded pin they have always been steel - I believe they are heat treated and hardened.

Guy, I'd use a copy function first in case something goes wrong. I'd then check that a copied photo file would open. I would then create a backup copy on another physical storage device, external HDD, DVD or USB. Then, and only then, I'd delete photos on the phone itself.

I watched this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG6I2gNGVwM about it and left a comment as many of the features that were highlighted matched my older genuine Mitutoyo but differed from a much newer Mitutoyo. Like they'd copied an old model and hadn't updated when Mitutoyo made changes.

I don't know about android, but with iPhone you can ‘save' photos from WhatsApp, so they can be transferred to PC. You can then delete within WhatsApp.

A couple of weeks ago, a few people were discussing Mitutoyo calipers.

Well, there are an awful lot of Chinese fakes out there.
